Ben Small
I'm Ben Small, a 25-year old journalist born and currently living in York, England. I studied journalism at university for three years, before returning a year later to complete a Masters Degree in the same subject. I have worked for various websites and magazines in my short journalist career and I like to spend some of my spare time writing articles to be published on websites just like suite101.
I spent the twelve months teaching English to children in South Korea, the most enjoyable challenge of my life to date...
As well as working on my writing skills, I am a sports coach for a company called Fund Sport who work with local schools in the Nottinghamshire area to offer sporting opportunities to children between the ages of 4 and 16.
My spare time mostly consists of traveling abroad, movies, music and playing sports. I hope to continue my journalism work wherever my career takes me, and I am always looking for chances to build my portfolio and learn new skills. I consider myself to be a thoughtful writer and I enjoy discussing and producing written work on a wide variety of topics and subjects.
In the future I hope be presented with further openings in the world of journalism by adding to my experiences of print, broadcast and online media.
